Happy Hour

Happy Hour at MOXI is set in text surrounded by simplistic, flat illustrations such as a bat or a scientist pouring bubbling green liquid into a human-sized beaker. Underneath the main text reads the details of the event: Friday, October 24. 5:30 PM to 8 PM. Tickets $18, Free for Members. Must be 21 or older to attend. Next to the details of the event is a flat illustration of two hands holding martini glasses, as if cheersing. One glass has an eyeball in it.

It’s time for grown-ups to play, drink, and be curious in Santa Barbara’s home for hands-on learning. Explore the spooky side of National Chemistry Week by making dry ice crystal balls, color-changing concoctions, and bubbling brews. Beer, wine, premixed cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.

Enjoy captivating chemistry demos and activities led by special guest chemists, the Los Padres Section of the American Chemical Society.

All Happy Hour guests must be 21 or older.
Costumes encouraged, but please leave weapons and props at home.
