Alpha Resource Center established Slingshot in 2013 to create a dedicated art center for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Santa Barbara County. Slingshot advances the recognition, visibility, and inclusion of artists and provides necessary support and accommodations to enable access to artistic expression.
Re/play brings together repeating images, variations, and recurrences to show us how these artists are working through the complexities of how they see the world. Each frame gives us something more, like snapshots from different angles.
