Jr. CIT Session Information.
Our MOXI Camp Junior Counselor-In-Training (Jr. CIT) Program, is a brand-new opportunity that aims to develop middle schoolers (rising 7th and 8th graders) as emerging leaders and role models by demonstrating and highlighting core values and character in MOXI Camps.
Jr. CIT Training
- Saturday, May 16th from 9 AM – 12 PM
- Wear close-toed shoes and clothes you can run around and get a little messy in
- Bring a snack and a water bottle
- Bring Jr. CIT information forms (hyperlinked)
- Head to the back of MOXI along Kimberly Ave. for drop-off and pick-up.

Drop-off and Pick-up Information
Drop Off
Drop-off starts no earlier than 8:50 AM (except for extended day) and is always at the back of MOXI at our Exploration Lab, along Kimberly Avenue. On the first day of camp, an adult drop-off person will need to confirm your contact information, your Jr. CIT’s information, and all approved pick-up person(s).
Pick Up
Pick-up is at 3:00 PM, also at the back of MOXI at the Exploration Lab, along Kimberly Avenue.
Jr. CITs can ONLY be signed out of camp by an adult on the approved pick-up persons list with a valid photo identification. Please inform your pick-up person(s) to bring photo identification with them each day that they pick up your camper.

Parking
Limited parking is available on Kimberly Avenue. There is also free 75-minute parking at the Amtrak train station parking lot next to the museum.
Please do not park in our Director and Vendor Only parking spaces or use that driveway unless accessing available ADA parking.
Extended Day
Extended Day drop-off starts no earlier than 8:00 AM and is at the back of the museum at the Exploration Lab, along Kimberly Avenue.
Extended Day pick-up is anytime 3 PM – 5 PM latest. For pick up after 3:15 PM, please head to the museum’s front desk. The staff there will check your ID then radio our Camps Team to bring your camper over to head out.
During extended day care, campers play in the museum and do various activities and/or crafts in our Exploration Lab or Innovation Workshop.
Late pick-up policy
Regular Day Registration: If a Regular Day Jr. CIT has not been picked up 10 minutes after the Regular Day ends, the Jr. CIT will be included in Extended Day programming and will be charged the Extended Day fee ($30).
Extended Day Registration: If Jr. CIT is not picked up by 5:01, the camper’s account will be charged $30 per 15-minute increment.
Emergency services will be called at 6:00, should parents/guardians and emergency contacts be unreachable.
Repeated late pick-ups of a Jr. CIT past their originally scheduled day (Regular or Extended) will be subject to review of suitability for MOXI Camp and may result in dismissal from the program.
