Noon Year’s Eve.

Ring in the new year in your comfiest attire on Sunday, December 31 with a special Noon Year’s Eve pajama party for all ages. Enjoy a museum-wide celebration while you interact with MOXI’s exhibits and enjoy themed activities. This fun event will include a lively countdown to 2024 complete with confetti, noisemakers + a dance party.

The museum will be closed for general admission on December 31, and reopen on Monday, January 1 for normal Business Hours.

Here’s what we have planned:

• Get ready to make noisemakers, wish wands, suncatchers, and so much more in the Innovation Workshop or at stations throughout the museum.
• Learn about the science of ice + snow
• Slap on a temporary tattoo
• Dance the day away with DJ Gavin Roy, World Dance for Humanity, and The Dance Network.
• Jam in jammies with Music Together with Gretchen.
• Construct your dream fort with Big Blue Blocks.
• Grown-ups can sip on some coffee from Considered Coffee.
• Glide on MOXI’s sock skating rink. (Weather permitting.)

9:30 AM – Event Begins

10:30 AM – The Dance Network (Creative Movement class)

11 AM – Music Together with Gretchen

11:15 AM – Groove to the music with The Dance Network (Hip-Hop dance class)

12 PM – Confetti Cannon Countdown

12:10 PM – Dance Party with World Dance for Humanity
