MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation

By Car

It is easy to get here from the 101 by exiting at Garden Street. Guests are advised to park in one of the City of Santa Barbara’s numerous lots within walking distance of MOXI, including the train station lot, conveniently located across the railroad tracks from the museum.

Please note the zone in front of the building on State Street is a no parking, no stopping zone for all traffic.

All guests are required to enter MOXI via the main entrance on State Street.

Parking

The City of Santa Barbara has numerous public parking lots within walking distance of MOXI, including City Lot #13, conveniently located adjacent to the train station across the railroad tracks from the museum.

MOXI has two accessible parking spots located at the rear of the building. These spots can be accessed off of Kimberly Avenue. Pedestrian pathways along both sides of our building allow for easy access to the main entrance.

By Bus

We encourage our guests to find alternative, “car-free” ways to visit MOXI.

Santa Barbara’s MTD shuttles and buses serve our area and provide our guests with a low-cost alternative.

By Train

We encourage our guests to find alternative, “car-free” ways to visit MOXI.

Santa Barbara’s train station is conveniently located across from MOXI. Guests from destinations both north and south of Santa Barbara may want to consider taking Amtrak, particularly for a multi-day visit to our area.

By Bike

We encourage our guests to find alternative, “car-free” ways to visit MOXI.

Bicycling to MOXI may be a particularly good option for local guests. Bike racks are available at the front and rear of our building for our guests that choose to bike to MOXI.
