soundBRIDGE

Bill Furman + Zach Zubow
August 3, 2019 – October 27, 2019

Designed by Bill Furman and Zach Zubow, soundBRIDGE is an interactive physical and aural experience, that explores making connections between sound and structure. It was inspired by children’s creativity when exploring the world and brings to reality a moment of imagining music notes and a melody as you tap everyday objects. As visitors walked in between the colorful bridge, they could tap the colorful panels to create an actual melody that moved with them.

What Do Colors Sound Like?

What Do Colors Sound Like?

Westmont grad, Tucker Howard, combines color, sound, and science in a unique art experience. He uses a custom algorithm to turn colors into sound, then uses vibration to shape that sound into visual patterns. Inspired by his ADHD and sensory experiences, the project includes a nine-track album, with each track based on a different color. Available this summer on MOXI’s 2nd floor.
