Alisa Singer created a series of digital paintings based on her belief that art can be an effective vehicle to communicate the science of climate change. Though the paintings appear to be abstract in nature, each is derived from a chart, graph, map, word, or number representing evidence of climate change.

What Do Colors Sound Like?

What Do Colors Sound Like?

Westmont grad, Tucker Howard, combines color, sound, and science in a unique art experience. He uses a custom algorithm to turn colors into sound, then uses vibration to shape that sound into visual patterns. Inspired by his ADHD and sensory experiences, the project includes a nine-track album, with each track based on a different color. Available this summer on MOXI’s 2nd floor.
