Waitlist Policy
MOXI camps are quite popular and tend to sell out quickly. MOXI does not maintain a traditional waitlist. Instead, interested participants are encouraged to sign up for our notification list. When a camp spot opens, the Camps team will reach out to all individuals on the list via email notifying them that a seat has been released on our website.
Registration will occur on a first -come, first- served basis via our online registration system; signing up for our waitlist does not guarantee you a spot in our program.

What should I expect from other campers?
There will be 16 campers at each MOXI session. We expect campers to get along, occasionally split into groups, and work together in teams for most of the day.
What does lunch look like for MOXI camps?
Lunch takes place off-site every day at a local park (Ambassador Park and Chase Palm Park) and at the beach near the Santa Barbara Wharf.
Campers are escorted from the museum to the park by volunteers and CPR-certified Camp Counselors equipped with emergency contact information, a first aid kit, radios, and extra supplies.
Campers are encouraged to bring their lunch, water, and sunscreen with them every day and are invited to play a number of different games and activities.
What communication should I expect before + during camps?
MOXI Camps will send an email the Monday before, the first day of camp, and then on the last day. Texts will be sent the Friday before and Thursday.
How do MOXI Camps handle behavior management?
Camp staff will maintain safety, stay calm, and help regulate and keep all campers safe (physically + emotionally). MOXI does not tolerate bullying of any sort. A primary care/pick up person will be contacted if we experience behavior issues of any sort.

High School graduates, trained in CPR + First Aid Certified, with previous experience working with kids.
