Toddler Tuesdays.
Join us weekly for Toddler Tuesdays at MOXI from 9 AM – 12 PM for a quieter morning at the museum with no scheduled field trips. On Tuesday mornings, we welcome our tiniest tinkerers and explorers with rotating monthly themes, special activities, and modifications to our exhibits to make them more accessible to little ones. Take this time to play, discover and interact with exhibits alongside your toddlers.
This May and June, Toddler Tuesday is bringing in a collection of collaborators to provide resources and programming for MOXI’s littlest explorers and their families.
Tuesday May 13: CALM, focusing on emotional development.
Tuesday, May 20: Stories in Sensory, spotlighting physical development.
Tuesday, May 27: The Brazilian Cultural Arts Center of Santa Barbara, who bring a fun twist on physical development.
Tuesday, June 3: Help Me Grow Santa Barbara County, leaning into social development.
Tuesday, June 10: Mariposas Project + Little Wings Preschool, highlighting linguistic development.
Tuesday, June 17: UCSB Foundations of Learning and Knowledge Lab, showcasing cognitive development.

Every first Tuesday, UCSB’s Child Studies Lab will be joining us for Toddler Tuesday to facilitate an activity they have designed for toddlers based on scientific research. There’ll be a different activity for each theme. Come learn about child development and have fun with your little one along the way.
