Vyome

Dave + Steve Ryan
May 25, 2019 – August 18, 2019

Vyome, designed by sibling duo Dave and Steve Ryan, explores the connection between the natural and human world. As guests interacted with the exhibit and touched each of the unique leaf shapes, they would discover the power and influence each shape holds on the entire network as they bloomed into life. Some images spread quicker than others, almost like an invasive species. Guests could join forces with other people to explore the outcomes of working together or competing for influence to discover the playfully colorful, thought-provoking world of Vyome.

What Do Colors Sound Like?

What Do Colors Sound Like?

Westmont grad, Tucker Howard, combines color, sound, and science in a unique art experience. He uses a custom algorithm to turn colors into sound, then uses vibration to shape that sound into visual patterns. Inspired by his ADHD and sensory experiences, the project includes a nine-track album, with each track based on a different color. Available this summer on MOXI’s 2nd floor.
