Light Waves

Shannon Willis
April 14, 2017 – May 21, 2017

Shannon Willis has shown mixed media paintings in galleries and exhibitions throughout the west coast. Light Waves is an interactive wall sculpture reflecting and refracting light waves from a projector, creating abstract moving images around the Light Passage. Visitors were encouraged to gently touch and manipulate the surface to transform the video projection into a dancing light sculpture.

What Do Colors Sound Like?

What Do Colors Sound Like?

Westmont grad, Tucker Howard, combines color, sound, and science in a unique art experience. He uses a custom algorithm to turn colors into sound, then uses vibration to shape that sound into visual patterns. Inspired by his ADHD and sensory experiences, the project includes a nine-track album, with each track based on a different color. Available this summer on MOXI’s 2nd floor.
