Crystal Landscapes

Guests could discover hidden crystal paintings made up of lab-grown crystal slides containing microscopic prism-like structures that refract light in many directions and display a vibrant interference of colors. Rotating the lens back-and-fourth allowed guests to watch the crystals spin and dance.

What Do Colors Sound Like?

What Do Colors Sound Like?

Westmont grad, Tucker Howard, combines color, sound, and science in a unique art experience. He uses a custom algorithm to turn colors into sound, then uses vibration to shape that sound into visual patterns. Inspired by his ADHD and sensory experiences, the project includes a nine-track album, with each track based on a different color. Available this summer on MOXI’s 2nd floor.
