The Mirrorbox

Megan May Daalder
September 16, 2017 – December 3, 2017

Guests were able to enter The Mirrorbox in pairs and make a new type of connection with friends, family or strangers. Artist Megan May Daalder created The Mirrorbox as a way to explore how we think about and see ourselves and others. What started as an artistic endeavor is now part scientific research project. A can’t miss experience that words struggle to describe! To learn more about the artist and her approach, check out her TedxTalk here.

What Do Colors Sound Like?

What Do Colors Sound Like?

Westmont grad, Tucker Howard, combines color, sound, and science in a unique art experience. He uses a custom algorithm to turn colors into sound, then uses vibration to shape that sound into visual patterns. Inspired by his ADHD and sensory experiences, the project includes a nine-track album, with each track based on a different color. Available this summer on MOXI’s 2nd floor.
